The flooding is only going to complicate things more, i cant imagine the business doesn't have some sort of lose, home owners imsurance that would cover clients loose. I have yet to get a phone call or any path forward communication. Stratimg to get frustrated, gonna be making a visit next friday if the water recedes, and a lawyer after that… @dreadi if you have info and not willing to share it you should have not even posted such on this thread…
You're barking up the wrong tree and appear to be displeased that I advocated for him while maintaining my integrity along with their privacy. People trust me with their personal information everyday and I will not be spreading it around for others to consume. Nothing that I was told is going to help you, or me, or anyone else get their items back.

If I have a serious personal issue (and it is affecting my business deliveries) and confide in you, I appreciate you not spreading it over the internet. Simply stating that the man could use some extra grace right now does no harm and might help someone calm down just a little. I also agree that it is your integrity showing.

The issue isn't yours to resolve.
I do think the OWNER absolutely OWES an explanation. Then customers can decide whether it merits some grace or not.
This is a nightmare scenario for me.
I had my first taxidermy done last year, and I'd heard these horror stories.
I'd be mad/sad/angry/pissed beyond words if this happened to me, and i really hope you are all made whole with your proper animals for great memories the rest of your lives.
To me, the owner needs to fess up on what the issue is.
