the wife and i spent a 4 day honeymoon in winthrop 2 years ago and hiked up to cutthroat lake one day. not a grueling 10 mile hike by any stretch, but a beautiful little lake chock full of mini-cutts.

Its incredibly gorgeos in there. ITs like a 2 mile hike isn't it. Its been a LONGGGGG time since I went in there. I sure am lucky to have grown up there.

yeah...seriously it's about a 30 minute stroll through the woods. great results for being so close to HWY 20 and we were all alone on a saturday.
