The Battle is Not Coming--It is Here! You Must Remain Engaged!

http://www.nraila.org/legislation/federal-legislation/2012/the-battle-is-not-coming-it-is-here!-you-must-remain-engaged!.aspx

"... And the fight is not limited to the U.S. Congress; anti-gun action has already begun at the state level, with several states already jumping into the fray.  New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) went so far as to say “Confiscation could be an option. Mandatory sale to the state could be an option. Permitting could be an option…"

Our formula for success will remain unchanged and your activism will remain key.  NRA's four million members and the tens of millions of other law-abiding American gun owners must stand united and stay active!  NOW is the time for you to contact lawmakers in Washington, D.C., and in your state, and let them know that gun bans and other restrictions on our Second Amendment rights are not the solution.

To find contact information for your elected officials, use the "Write Your Reps" [http://www.nraila.org/get-involved-locally/grassroots/write-your-reps.aspx] feature at www.NRAILA.org.  Click here for tips on effective communication with your lawmakers, and don't forget to visit www.GunBanFacts.com for the FACTS on semi-auto bans. ..."

"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Yes, I recall several years ago writing on the Sportsman at Microsoft alias predicting this very time. Many on the site commented, "That could never happen, our gun rights are safe," and many other replies of the same vein. Now the day is here; the liberal media, left wing politicians and anti-gun activists are whipping up the Obama voting base into an radical gun-control frenzy. Now is the time for US, the true believers in the 2nd Amendment to take action. Flood the politicians with emails and letters, sign the various 2nd Amendment petitions, and excoriate the various anti-gun activists. We need to go on the offensive and make our positions clear. There are several 2nd Amendment organizations including the NRA that need our dollars more than ever. Even if you disagree with some of the issues the NRA supports now is not the time to nit-pick. Dig deep my friends or your gun rights will be taken away - I guarantee it. The worst thing we can do is nothing.
Warning! Do not elect politicians who don't support the 2nd Amendment as the Constitutional framers intended - There are no Collective Rights in the Bill of Rights. America is about Individual Freedoms, not collectivism!

This is key, everyone must stick together also. Doesn't matter if you don't own or don't like black guns, this is about ALL guns.
This administration wants to be in the history books for abolishing the 2nd Amendment.........
