  I see they have finally caught on to the gouging.  American eagle 223 is now 14.98 instead of 7.99.  Not to much flying of the shelves now. :chuckle:

I heard that as of Jan 1 they got hit by a huge tax, sin tax if you will.  %75 tax imposed by the govt.    Not sure if its true, I heard about it but thought it might be fear mongering.....

That's normal for those rounds.  They are the varmint bullets with polymer tips.  I think I used to get them for 12.99 or 13.99 a box before the rush. I'm waiting to see what happens to the fmj rounds.  They shouldn't go over 8 or 9 a box if unless they wanna screw us.

I'm sure glad I stocked up in late Nov, I even bought bulk ammo for a gun I'm planning on buying.  :)

Ha! Some of the gun shops prices were already high in town. Since this scare you should see what their selling their 5.56 ammo and Mags for. Fear monging is right, but then again there are plenty of chumps to keeps such places going. So is the way of Capitalism, only in America. It still is America isn't it? :chuckle:

Yes and they pretty much ruined my fall.   I saw three up close and personal.   THey are Terrorizing the sawtooth.  Yeah, she doesn't exactly enjoy my desire to whipe them off the face of the earth :chuckle:
