fox pro problem?

is it just me or is it near imposible to get your fox jack decoy off to change batteries?
is there an easier way?  also today after i called in my cat the wildfire would play for 15min then shut off.
brand new batteries any sugestions?

I would try new batteries again. Also I had a spitfire and had trouble with it in the cold. Might be some moisture in it, make sure and get it dried out. Congrats on the cat. I've been callin for a few years and have only dreamed of calling one of those in.
