5.56 SS 109(62gr) penetrator at Ammoman.
« on: January 04, 2013, 03:19:35 PM »
Their web site has been up and down lately but they had the best deal on quality 5.56 stuff.  720 round cases of  M855 SS109, 62gr penetrator. Super clean, NATO cross, reloadable, military crip, sealed primer and crimp. All packaged nicer than any 5.56 I have purchased cased in the past. Case price 389.00 to your door. Just got the first shipment in and the rest will follow next week. .54 cents a round to the door is a smoking deal.

The brass was even polished after annealing, quality stuff there.

Disclaimer: That is my brothers hand in the photo with that "Thing" stuck on his finger. In no way would I condone such a act involving a ring. ;)

I just talked to some buddies at Hooked On Toys in Wenatchee (509) 663-0740 and they just got a TRUCK  LOAD of the above ammo in. Priced at 44.00 per box of 50, it just arrived this afternoon.

Hahaha! Good buy? As of a week ago anything is a good buy if you can get it! That carbine worthless if you can't feed it. Most SS109 on the Internet is a 1.00 a round if you can find it. Besides, nothing stopping this stuff. Not Kevlar, vehicle, trauma plate NOTHIN! :)

The early bird with the coin in hand gets the worm. ;)

No green tip??

Not all M855 has a green tip designation, you should know that???? It's designated M855 with a NATO cross on the headstamp. Top shelf $hit!!

Description:

"Manufactured in 2010 to strict NATO military specifications for the DAMC (Danish Army Material Command) and carries the AMA headstamp with the NATO cross. The SS109 projectile features a 62 grain full metal jacket around a lead core with a steel penetrator tip. This standard NATO SS109 bullet is the same as the popular U.S. made M855, only no green paint is applied to the tip. The ammunition is first quality, new production ammunition, loaded in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases with Mil-Spec crimped sealed primers and sealed bullets. Each round is in the bright, pristine condition as the day it was loaded. There is no patina or tarnish - even the annealing coloration on the brass was removed before loading! "

Do they advertise it as .54 cents a round?

I'd buy 100,000 rounds at .54 cents a round...Thats $5.40 a case!
Matter of fact, sell to me at double that and I'll be right there!
