Reality Check: Executive order for gun control, Can it happen?

Write your representatives using the NRA-ILA Write-Your-Reps tool. You can find your representatives and write them using just a few minutes of your time.
http://www.nraila.org/get-involved-locally/grassroots/write-your-reps.aspx
Tell your representatives that you do
NOT
support more gun control. Time and effort should be spent looking at real issues that appear to be at the core of the problem such as severe mental illness, the continual decline of morals in our country, drug abuse, gang violence, perhaps even the extreme violence in video games and movies that our children are exposed to.
We are a free people in this country because “We, the People” have guns and we have used them to secure and protect our freedom since the Revolutionary War. Without these tools of self-defense and survival, we will no longer be a nation of free people; we will be a nation of controlled people and definitely no longer free.
Criminals could care less about the laws that restrict gun ownership by law-abiding citizens. Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens will do nothing but embolden the criminal element since they will always be able to obtain guns and other weapons to use against the innocent and law-abiding citizens in our society.
Firearms are used to protect and preserve our freedom, they are used for self-defense and the defense of others, they are used for hunting, they are used for recreational shooting, and they are most definitely a deterrent to crime.
Do
NOT
support more gun control. Do
NOT
fall into the trap of emotional, “knee-jerk” reactions to a horrific tragedy created by a madman.
DO
support building and protecting a healthy, productive, and
FREE
society.
Thank you.
