Foxpro not working
« on: January 10, 2013, 11:23:52 PM »
I recently purchased a foxpro spitfire from the local cabelas.  After taking it out of the box and trying it I noticed that the remote kept saying low battery even after inserting brand new batteries.  I took the unit back to cabelas and they let me exchange it for a new one.  I took the new one out of the box and tried it out and it worked but the remote would not register unless I was standing right next to the speaker unit.  Has anyone else experienced this same issue.?  I had heard only good things about foxpro and that is why I am surprised to have had two defective products.

Can't say anything about the spitfire but I have a firestorm and the remote works in excess of 80 yards. As mentioned above give foxpro a call their service department is exceptional

Exceptional customer service for a not so eveptional product. Take it back and get a kanatitek. 2 years of use and zero problems with mine. The only issue I've ever had is my drive had a virus and wouldn't work so after getting a new drive it worked fine. I did receive a new caller and tried using my flash drive in it which is when we discovers it was my drive. Kanatitek has good customer service and a great product. JMHO

FoxPro field staff here , Very unusual if i must say so . Two options , go back to Cabelas and test the unit BEFORE you leave or send defective call to FoxPro , They will make it right and return it in a hurry .
The main reason i agreed to become a field staff member is after useing the FoxPro brand without a issue and hearing stories about the excellent customer service how could i say no .
Most complaints about a caller not working correctly turn out to be a user issue , Not sasying this is your case .
FoxPro produces thousands of callers every year and some glitches are bound to happen .
It may be as simple as a battery issue . Follow my advice and you will be taken care of .
Hope this helps , Jerry .
