 I think it to be a greattt deal!  What else can you ask for?  Multi-use in this size appealed to me.  I can run my well and much more on my house.  My 27ft tt and my tools in the field like saws compressor and welder.  Perfect for me.  It surprised me how quiet it was, I expected it to be louder.

Even quieter if you throw it behind the trailer at camp or wherever.

I am running a Honda 2500 watt for my little 5th wheel. Works great for us. Ours is an industrial model, and is nosier than the camping model. We don't mind it at all though. Runs 14+ hours, 3 gallon tank. Runs longer than the manual said it would on a tank of gas.

I would never argue it is better than a honda. I am a Honda fan.  That said I know they are well made as champion has been making good equipment a long time now. Many reviews over several years praising these.  I would argue that the 3 champions I could buy at the price of Honda would indeed outlast them. :chuckle:

I have had a Colman for the house for the last 15 years. Runs the well, everything in the house (except the water heater, and heater) I have a wood stove for everything else.

We bought a trailer in 04 and a honda 3000. The honda is bullet proof. No problems at all.

Our Honda powers our whole house, and we use it in elk camp as well. It does great on fuel and is so quiet it just sounds like someone humming. Love it!  Pay the extra money, if you have it, and go with a Honda

5000w is the minimum to do what you want. You're going to have a lot noise unless you go with something of quality like the Honda eu6500. The champion with get you buy but it will be loud.

I own a Honda eu6500IS, at full throttle you can stand next to it and talk quietly and be heard. No BS. Go to a honda dealer and see for yourself. Bring you wallet too cause they cost an arm and a leg, but worth it.
I agree with Iceman. I have had a es6500 for 13 years. It has a radiator and you can barely here it purr. As far as running your home and well. I wired my home for back up power. Live in Enumclaw! unless your well is close to your elect. panel you might have issues with running house  and well at the same time. Make sure you install a UL rated transfer switch for safety reasons. Northern equipment has some good prices and free shipping, Use to be no tax on internet sales.
