ANOTHER STUPID QUESTION

IS 19 GAUGE STRONG ENOUGH TO WITH STAND THE RAVAGES OF A WILD BEAST SUCH AS BEAVER,OTTER,BOBCAT OR RACCOON.........I HAVE BUILT MY FIRST CAGE ITS REAL SOLID AS FAR AS THE 1/4" COLD ROLD FRAMES BUT THE 19 GUAGE 1/2" X 1/2" WELDED WIRE MESH SEEMS KIND OF WEAK........ALSO IVE HEARD 1/2" X 1" IS ALSO A GOOD CHOICE BUT WHAT ABOUT GUAGE. WHAT DO YALL THINK????????

I would not use less then 14 guage. Most traps are either 14 or 12 guage. 1x1 12 guage for chewers. 14 is fine for small animals and cats and underwater sets.

well thats a bummer deal i just bought twenty feet of 19 guage definetly felt light once on the trap. thanks again bruce.....

I GUESS I GO WITH WHAT I GOT FOR NOW AND PRAY THEY HOLD UP TILL I CAN BUY SOME HEAVIER MESH WHAT A PAIN I  WILL HAVE TO SPECIAL ORDER IT FROM THE HARDWARE BEING THAT I TRY NOT TO GO DOWN INTO THE BIG CITY IF I DONT HAVE TO. BUT THANKS AGAIN AND IT WAS C RINGS FOR 1/4" WITH THE PLIERS TO ACCOMODATE UH.....

Yea on the c-rings I posted this on a couple threads I think but look at http://klubertanz.com/
You need the biggest size c rings.

so bruce i looked up that link but cant decide what size rings i need for 1/4" cold rold along with 12guage wire what would you recomend.sorry for all the question just cant seem to find the answers else where.....
