Anyone use the Horn Hunter Full Curl Combo Packs?
« on: January 24, 2013, 08:12:08 AM »
I have looked on here and only found one post about them from MichealJ and he love it. Anyone else have anything to say about them? I am thinking of buying one and want others input.

I have one and like it pretty well.  waist strap pockets are a little noisy and bulky, but aside from that, it's a well designed pack.  You'll have to get used to the mile of nylon strapping dangling all over the place too....

I have one and like it. The mile of strapping gets annoying and the belt pockets are bulky and catch on my scope when carrying my rifle by the sling. But I really like the versatility of it and the fact that it has the water bladder attached to the main frame of the pack. The hip belt may not adjust small enough for someone with a waist smaller than 33". But it fits me well and I would buy it again.

Bought one this past summer, been very happy with it.  Heaviest load has been maybe 50 lbs., but it carried comfortably.  No regrets with purchase, plus it's made in the USA.

I have one and for the most part I like it.  The one thing I hate about it is it squeaks really bad around the frame.  I have contacted the company and they apparently have a fix for the problem with fleece.   I still haven't received this fix yet after over a month of waiting.   This week I will call again to see what's up, when I called originaly it was during the holidays so it may have been lost in the rush.  The customer service was very good and I am not disappointed in the company at all.  However, I just tried out the new blacks creek packs and for about the same price as the HH I liked it a little better.  I don't think it will pack quite as much as the HH, but I think it would work very well.  The BC is also made in the USA.
