My wife's first carry gun was a Taurus 605 357 Internal hammer soft two stage trigger.
Great little gun.

revolver in a caliber that she is able to shoot with confidence mine has a .22 mag and I would hate to be on the receiving end of her rath

Talked with her yesterday....she is heading in tomorrow and applying for her permit. All the advice is helping, thanks for all the input so far.

My daughter went with a high cap 9 mm.   Great pistol

Her choice for shotgun at home is still up in the air.
