I cook about 75% of the time.    :peep:

He is always trying to take all the credit!  :chuckle: What is really annoying is sometimes when we are having someone over for dinner and I've cooked all the side dishes for hours, and he cooks the meat right at the end, he gets all the praise for a great dinner!

But actually in day to day life, I enjoy the chats while making dinner (50/50!)

We both split duties depending on who is home and able. I cook a lot on weekends and enjoy making big meals for friends and family.

Loki, I'm sure I say this with the understanding and support of the entire forum - you're dumb and are in a lot of trouble now. :bdid: :yike: :yike: Weathergirl, may your retribution be severe and lengthy. He deserves it! :chuckle: :chuckle:

Thread reminds me of Totie Fields old story that when she got married she told her husband that a woman  could only be good in one room in the house-so she never could cook. Personally I can prepare a meal, but my wife can actaully cook-I think there's a difference.

The wife does most of the cooking during the week, I do the weekends, and for most of the family/freinds get togethers.

Rad I don't think Butlers cook, but they could open the door for your cook/chef.  :chuckle:

The wife's favorite dish to make is Taco Bell, so I do all of the cooking. I'm an ex-chef and sell exotic foods for a living, so I get to use a lot of neat stuff like wild mushrooms, caviar, truffles, different oils and vinegars, etc.. I love preparing sauces and am not great with baking. Occasionally, I'll do a 6-8 course meal for family and friends, complete with wines, cheese courses, charcuterie. I love preparing game when I am fortunate enough to put some in the fridge. Lately, that includes geese only! There's always next archery season.

Mmmmmmmm. You should teach Smossy something ;)

About 90% me, 10% her, but she is a great prep person in the kitchen and we share the cleanup.  I am very fond of Cajun/Creole dishes and Homemade Pizza, as well as cooking with Venison of course!

My wife can cook, she just doesn't think she can. I do about 80% of the cooking, and end up helping her with 80% of her cooking! We are trying to stick to a low carb/high protein diet, and since she gets the heeby jeebies handling raw meat, I do most of it. I'm ok with it, I love to cook and like to experiment with new things. Made an awesome venison roast, london broil style last night with a brown sugar chili pepper rub, and some quinoa with minced chilis, bell peppers, onions and garlic in it, dang good eats right there!
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.
