Best Hunting Time. CHART?
« on: September 22, 2008, 05:17:48 AM »
I posted this question in "Other Big Game", but seems like no help there. I've seen these and know they work, a hunting buddy had a wheel chart he would carry with him, and if it said 9:30am, by golly the bulls would be talking. My problem is where can a guy find one?  :dunno:

Those things are all over, even have one on my Garmin...
Best hunting/fishing times ?...
Wont get anything unless you are there, fish wont bite if your bait ain't in the water, cannot see an animal unless you are in the woods.

very well said.  ive seen mature bucks mid day, cougar mid day, and we all have trail cam pics of "nocturnal" critters moving around at high noon.  sure some times are higher odds than others, but the fact of the matter is, mid day in the woods gives you better chance of connecting with an animal than mid day on your couch.  if its hunting season and youre serious about filling a tag, be out there as much as possible.
