624

Are there any elk in 624?  I would think so, with all those elk in sequim area right? But maybe they just moves from the olympics to sequim and back, and are all protected cause 621 is closed and then there is an elk area around sequim?  Also, I have seen elk in 621, just west of 101, near brinnon.  about 60 of them, in a big field near an elk x-ing sign.  there were several big bulls too.  so much fun watching them.
Anyway, any of those olympic elk ever venture out into 624? Anybody have any experience there? Looking at modern.

Very seldom if ever.  Not many elk in 624.  Habitat conditions are not good.

bummer.  I thought maybe right at the point where 624 starts at the south west corner, since that was so close to the brinnon elk i saw.  Or just very near to the elk area up by sequim, since there are all those tons of elk that go into sequim.  maybe find the imaginary line and sit 30' outside of it!  :chuckle:

i did talk to a friends dad who spent a lot of time looking around that area and found a whole lot of nothing.  I just feel like its possible though you know?! I'll probably end up wasting a ton of time though if I go looking.  :bash:

I haven't seen any cows in 624 east of Blyn.  Seen pictures of random bulls throughout the area.
