Here's an interesting fact for you if someone ever says to you "fur is a thing of the past"
Raw furs are Washington States 23rd leading export with exports in 2011 (lastest year available) of $248 million.

It's because of the Seattle Fur Exchange. They receive and auction  ranched fur and through their association with Fur Harvesters International, wild fur. Admittedly most of their sales are ranched fur.

I kinda figured that the majority was commercial fur but thats still awesome to know. Seems like a good slap in the face to all the PETA psychos considering how much of our economy is fur based.  :tup:
