I would sure think so. Winter is only half over and more snow is to come. So I can't imagine the elk heading for higher ground already. I was thinking of taking my kids over there too sometime this month.
Winter half over? You must not get over here very often.  Almost spring here.  Snow is all gone.  The elk have been leaving joe watt.

All the big bulls are gone from Joe Watt.  It is a good thing in my mind.  When they open those gates up to the shed hunters, those elk will be scattered to hell and back already.  Less pressure on the pregnant cows....
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

My son and I stopped by there today. Only one other car in the lot but still lots of elk, probably 30+ branched bulls and at least a dozen spikes.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

In November U.S. manufacturing contracted for the the ninth consecutive month. Layoffs across the economy are higher than anytime since the pandemic in 2020 and I just read that the Midwest farmers will be receiving a 12B bailout due to 50 year trade relationships being destroyed. I have to admit that I was a sceptic and didn't believe in the effectiveness in tariffs but I'm a believer now.
