Laws ya probably, but hope large scale compliance no.
I remember under Clintons ban, some feared gun confiscation, but read in a magazine; think it was Guns & ammo where a FFL spoke up, and said he didn't think so. After that people kind of calmed down then it passed, but only because of the part thats said it expired after 2004 as long as Congress or Bush didn't resign it.
This time I'm personally quite scared that gun confiscation could indeed happen. People say no, but believe our guns are soon to be gone.
I think I seen somewhere where it said crime has escalated since Obama has declared gun ctrl plans. New Jerseys preposed laws are so far reaching that any little thing would get your guns confiscated. How long it stays that way is anyones guess. I fully believe all out gun confiscation may soon be on the horizen.

The attempts at passing a gun ban probably wont make it, but when you combine the NDAA act that says the Pres. can use the military to kidnap/detain US citizens indefinitely without due process, obama's use of drones over seas to kill US citizens, including a 16yr old kid, and his recent claim that he doesnt need "direct evidence", or apparently due process either to do so, The recent purchases by the SS, er I mean DHS of BILLIONS of rounds of ammo and thousands of rifles, The TSA doing no-probable cause road block/highway stops like they just did in Tennesee, FEMA internment camps, and rumors about Gunderson steel government contracts that involve making millions of "prisoner transport" railroad cars...  All combined it's a real bad picture. i know an awful lot of people that are voting with their wallet at the gunstore need to be harrassing the hell out of their elected representatives.. and with all this going on do I need to mention the coming financial collapse?

And there is a corporate prison outfit that is looking at taking management of prisons around the country as long as states will guarantee that they will provide at least 90% occupancy.

I seen, and not sure if it's true or not, but all borders all around the US are Constitution free zones. I picked that up from the ACLU site a while back. If so this would give credence to why that New York guy was able to been arrested with 5 30rd magazines in his trunk. Means the Police didn't need a warrant or probable cause to look in his trunk.
