Warm sunny day to set traps
« on: February 16, 2013, 07:59:32 PM »
On this warm sunny day I decided to set some traps out. I have acces to 160 acres of private ground behind a locked gate that is mostly swamp now and the owner wants beaver removed so he can find his road again, told him I would and got to trap anything else I wanted. So this is what I did today
First trip 3 beaver swimthroughs and a funnel trap, the funnel trap made a round trip

Second trip 12 colony traps for muskrats

Third trip 12 more colony traps

Fourth trip the last 12 muskrat colony traps

Most of the swamp is still frozen solid but there is open water in spots around so I had walk more than I wanted.
