nice shots! i regret not mounting the drake i shot a few years back....don't get a chance at these too often where i live.

There's several spots in the greater Lynden area that hold a fair amount of woodies!  :tup:

Their coloration is pretty wild when you take a second and just look at all those feathers

Excellent pictures, thanks for sharing.  My upland hunting buddy had a small pond near the Yakama Rez explode with ~200 woodies in November when they were hunting quail.  Would've been cool to see that.

Those are the best looking ducks we have. The only problem for me is, they are on my bucket list but they are so cool looking I might have a hard time shooting one. That thought doesn't count with elk though!! Nice pic's.
