Youth season dates?

Ive used the search function and found that April 7-8th 2013 is it for youth. Is that all they get?

They always just get the weekend before the opener.

Havn't seen 2013 regs yet, but typically it the weekend  1 week prior to general opener, so this year I am guessing the 6th & 7th. good luck out there.

Kids (16 & under?) get that weekend by themselves to take one bird only I believe, but they can also hunt during the regular spring season (April 15th thru May 31st), early fall, and late fall just like us grownups and with the same total bag limits.

Last year my son got his bird on opening day and then went to a baseball tourney that afternoon. Was the best weekend ever for him. Looking forward to April 6.
