« on: February 19, 2013, 08:07:44 PM »
Hey Yall, I need info on good part yards in the region since I need to find a quality used engine and transmission for my 91 ranger as they need to be replaced immediately.  I know of Spaldings in spokane but need more places to look.  anything will help.

Walt and Vern's in Buckley.
Gundie's in Bellingham.
You might have a hard time finding that stuff in a boneyard. Too old maybe.
Both of those places I mentioned have websites you can search yourself to see what they have.

Lostbackpacker.....here on the forum. Talk to him about Nix 99 in Snohomish. They do mainly Toyota and Lexus on the yard but if Mike can't get it for you it ain't out there!

Have you checked out Webers? I know they are pretty decent. There's also Poor Boys across the street. Webers being the cleanest and orginized. They won't even let you pick and pull your major parts. If you want I can talk to a buddy who owns a wrecking yard here in selah and might be able to help out.

Is it a 4 liter? I may be able to help you out....
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

The valve cover gaskets leak bad in that vintage... there was some kind of "fix" an improved gasket for them.  :twocents:
