I've killed the most of my bulls early. But, the best elk calling I have done has always been in October.
I make it work because it is all we have but when we had the week of the 14th to 21st it was noticeably better. I killed my bull on September 8th last year; he came to cow calls.
We could have some of those days back if we got rid of most of the technology in bows now
Then it's the children of logging supply store owners.
