Best Glue Update 2

Hello All,

I wanted to let you know that I completed my adhesive/shaft prepping testing using seven  solvents (including acetone, lacquer thinner, Comet, Ajax, 99% isopropyl alcohol, and AAE Max Clean) and six adhesives (including Goat Tuff, Loctite Pro, Loctite Ultra Gel, Loctite Stik-N-Seal, Maxi Cure and Gorilla Impact Tough) in combination with Easton alloy shafts and Bohning Blazer vanes.

My results were most interesting and surprising.
I can’t release the data as yet because I submitted my findings for publication to Africa’s Bowhunter magazine for review. If I don’t hear anything within a week or so, I will publish my findings here.

Thanks for your patience,
Konrad

Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter can not be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.”

It will be interesting to hear your findings.
When you talk, you only learn what you know. when you listen, you learn what others know.

Same here...  I hope you used different shaft material like Carbon fiber and aluminum.  Because that would be great information.

My adhesive testing article has been accepted by Africa's Bowhunter Magazine for publication in their next issue; however, I will be getting permission to publish my findings here in the States this week.

The next round of experiments will be using carbon composite shaft material and the Blazers.
