Damn 6 pages already?   :o You'd better get one!

I had the tag last year but due to life piling up on me I didn't get out much and unfortunately didn't tag out. If I can be of any assistance at all let me know.

Maybe he's warming up to the idea! If you get a chance head over to fishing. I just posted up a link to my new boat. I'm going to help you set a page record even if I have to do a little thread jacking!

I hope you have better luck than your last two buddies who drew this permit.

I don't know about that......one buddy tagged out last year and one came close. Another buddy has tagged out before and knows the area pretty well. I plan to hunt often from start to finish, learn all I can, bag one or not, then help next year and just stay out there.

I'm pulling for ya.  Seems like a hard permit to fill.  I  have 2 buddies that have drawn and they both tagged out at the very end of season.  They said it was a harder permit than they thought it would be.  Hopefully they extend it to June 15th.

Oh yeah...it is not a gimmie by any means. I've heard the same thing about succes....mostly towards the end of the permit season. I'm thinking that we may have a little better chance this year.....c'mon sunshine and early to rise boo boo!

When I had it I only saw one bear in the early part of the season in spite of getting out several days mid week and each weekend.  Then one day there were bears everywhere and I ended my season.  Someone told me that the beginning of the season was too early and I should just wait until the end but I was too excited to have the tag and just wanted to be out hunting.

Drawing that tag is what brought this site to my attention and introduced me to the helpful bear hunters here.
We need a crusade for the children, a children's crusade.
