I’m thinking of driving over for the day – and might try Mocrocks.

Who else will be on the beaches?  :hello:

The nice weather is the only way I was going to get my wife out there!   :chuckle:

I wish.  Good luck.  You should have good tides.

How did you do? We went out to Copalis (Ocean City) and we got 6 limits in an hour.

Turned out to be a nice day out there today.  Low surf and no wind/rain.  About half the clams we dug had their necks showing, makes for a good day.

My wife and I drove from Redmond to Mocrocks Beach.  We made a stop at the Mill 109 restaurant in Seabrook and had their clam chowder (Razor clams of course).

From Seabrook, we drove South and hit the first beach access.  It was still very early, so we spent some time driving up and down the beach just looking and watching the surf fishermen.

About 3 hrs before low tide there were 6-8 people poking around and I was pretty impatient, so I joined in.  There were very few of us on the beach.  About 2 hr before low time, it was like rush-hour!  It seemed to go from a population of about 50 to 10,000 - quite amazing to see!

As LT approached, I think you could stay in a 10’ X 10’ area and limit out.  The clams were everywhere.

There were 4 guys that parked next to me, went out and came back in 10 minutes with their limit.

We had our 2 limits, and hit the road.  I spent over 2 hrs cleaning them Sunday.

Fantastic weather - couldn’t have hit it any better.  Last year, a friend and I were in high wind, rain, and sleet!

Great time…

We were down at Copalis as well w/ the in-laws and Saturday was a great day, had 4 limits in 30minutes.  We decided to stick around sunday to catch the tide and boy what a change in weather and surf.  Saw a lady almost get swept out b/c she thought she could wade out in the water w/ her husband. Ended up w/ 120 clams for the weekend but sunday was definitely not as easy as Saturday.
