Lots of game there but there are quite a few areas that you need to watch out for tweekers in.  A guy I know went over there for turkey a couple years ago and got handled by the some freak. He just walked up and was going to ask permission to hunt in the field, a guy came out with one hand on his knife up on his belt, grabbed the hunter buy the arm and pushed him back towards the way he came in. What sucks is that the hunter was a 60 man just trying to get his first turkey. That was his last hunting trip...he quit and gave me all of his hunting stuff and all of his guns. He said if that is what it has come to he would rather do something else.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or destroy it, piss on it and walk away!

Headshot, I dont know what the deer numbers look like right now. But when we hunted over there we were not happy with what we were seeing.  Low numbers compared to years before.
If you hunt around there, you know the CNF has many areas to hunt.  What unit tag do you have ?
