Reading glasses and scopes.

Hey I'm getting old. Will reading glasses effect my point of impact? Vs not wearing them.Just rescoped my .204 with a luey. 4.5x14x50 (to much scope gotta screaming deal) very fine retical. Thanks for any advice or experience  in this matter.

I'm also curious to see the responses.  I generally try to elevate the lower bifocal part of my glasses so I'm looking through that part into the scope to see properly.  However what I found works best is to just focus the scope without glasses to my sight, then flip my glasses up on my lower forehead above my nose and look through the scope when I'm ready to shoot.

Getting old is a pain.... :chuckle:

I dont wear my glasses if i have to look at some thing i have good binos then when i get a good look then i bring up the scope

Yes it will change the focus, wear your reading glasses for reading.

Reading glasses will not help you,focus the scope to your eyes,i aim at bark on trees or a sign to bring into clarity,if you are hunting with reading glasses on than time for a trip to eye doctor,for hunting i goot a pair of priscription glasses for distance only so i could use binos and scope,i carry perscription bifocal-distance in my pocket to see close up or as a spare.

the thing I hate about glasses and scopes is if your glasses slip down the bridge of your nose to where you are looking over the tops you'll have double vision happens to me every year in the heat of the moment then the glasses go flying
