04 nissan sentra 1.8

Anybody have this car or a close year? Curious what gas milage you got! I just got one of these cars as a commuter, had 120k! Im hoping for 33mpg but have read reviews of as low as 28mpg.

We have an 05 Sentra. Been a good car. We get 31.5 over the road on trips. Good little motor the 1.8 is. We have an automatic, would sure like a 5 speed. Anyway, we have around 110,000 on ours, we bought it new. Had to have some seals replaced on the transmission at 65000, which required the tranny pulled and put back. That was not cheap, but cheaper than a payment book.  Let us know how you like your car!

I go with the EPA estimates when I research and they have been pretty accurate for my cars/trucks. 

Sentra 1.8 is 24 city 32 highway for an average of 27

My ex gf had one. Great little car. We were in one accident, glancing blow @30 and needed minimal repair. It was a great car till she slid into a guard rail and totaled it.

-Ive already had to replace the alternator and also had to take it in to nissan becouse of a recall on the electrical system. It was idleing high then low then high, they fixed it tho! Hopefully all the glitches are out of it now, ive gotten 32-33mpg on my last 3 fillups after i serviced the car!
