I also called Don Benton's office yesterday and requested he look into a getting a hearing to find out what the DFW is holding back from us. The fact that Mr. Ware testified that management and payments are expected to go from $750K to $2.3 million this year would indicate that he knows something about increasing conflict that we haven't been told. I would encourage anyone to make a similar request of their senator. Something really fishy about an increase of three times in a year.

Does anyone know what the status is of the two bills. I have contacted legislators offering to testify and urging them to support these but have not received much feedback.
