Cost
This course costs $15.00, must be paid in advance, and pre-registration is required.

Age Restrictions
There is no minimum age for this course, however students must be able to shoot a bow and demonstrate safe bow handling skills in class.

Curriculum
Bowhunter education courses are based on the International Bowhunter Education Foundation curriculum. Topics include equipment, anatomy, tracking, safety, regulations and other subjects of particular value to bowhunters. The course is designed to benefit both new and experienced bowhunters.

Please Note: Bowhunter education classes do not meet the Washington training requirement to purchase a hunting license for first-time hunters born after January 1, 1972.

Although bowhunter education training is not required in Washington State, many states do require it for all bowhunters. Washington’s bowhunter education program meets the requirements of all states. IBEP course graduates average a 20% higher success rate in the field.

The class started last night and runs this week. On saturday the first 18 targets on the walk through course will be closed for the feild portion of the class. likely between 8am-3pm. The back 32 targets will be open for shooting. just walk down the paved driveway twords the gravel pit and the trail/return starts near the gate for target 19.
