Mathews Creed
« on: April 05, 2013, 09:52:22 AM »
Went out last night to buy a new Mathews creed bow. In setting it up at the store I noticed the cam when it was being pulled back was rubbing the inside of the limb. The new creed has split limbs on it and it looked to me as though one of the limbs were cantered a little.  :dunno: Little concerned about buying it??
I have never owned a split limb bow so this is new to me. And I have never had a problem with any of my other Mathews I have owned.
Question is has anybody herd of Mathews having problems with there creed bows and issues with the limbs?
and is this common issues of a split limb bow regardless of maker?

A little cam lean is not a major concern.  If it is in fact rubbing the inside of the limb dont buy that particular bow.  Point out the rub marks on the limb to the dealer and ask him about it.  If he says that is normal go to another dealer cause he is full of it.  The Creed is a nice bow for sure.

If its hitting the limb dont buy it. Like crunchy said if they think its normal go else where. I would amagine that bow was dry fired.

I shot one last week, while tring out a few different bows. I noticed a little cam lean but, nothing close to hitting the limb.
