Eloika Lake Spokane
« on: April 06, 2013, 10:01:31 PM »
Heading out for the first time this year Tuesday. Also taking the canoe instead of the float tube. Hoping for a great day!  There is a great video on youtube featuring yjguide service. You should look it up.

Craig is a sponsor on here.  Haven't fished with him yet but him and his wife are both very nice people.

My favorite lake! Might be too early but try hitting with topwater frogs around the lillypads. Wife drug in a 6lb LMB last May with frogs.

Was not a banner day on the fishing side.  Probably a bit early still.  It would be tuff to fish a frog on the lilly pads - they are about 2 feet under water.  Got this little bass and a pretty nice crappie.  Great day though.

Yeah she hit that bass late May. Pads were just starting to encroach. Spinners are great this time of year, especially since you can't use them after another month. LOL
