I've spent a fair amount of time up there. But the brush is starting to get out of control. Which side are you coming in from? Coldwater, Werhauser, Green river? Stomped all over Panhandle Lake, Snow Lake, Venus. You may get snowed out this year!! Heard very few bugles this late. Gotta ambush them!

going in from the end of cold water lake, the basin at the head of cold water creek seems to have some large bulls in there.

I was up there last year the weekend before Rifle opened for deer and the bulls were going nuts.  I would yell and the bulls would bugle back at me, fun stuff.  Good Luck on the hunt.  Are you gonna take a boat to the back of the lake?
