Chunky largie!
« on: April 10, 2013, 06:58:47 PM »
Went out to test the new trolling motor today on Lake Goodwin and ran in to this old gal  :IBCOOL:

8lbs even

Only one of the day in the windy conditions but I'll take it! Motor worked great  This one will get me through the next 4 days of work before my vacation and 10 day bassin' bonanza starts!!

It was blowing for sure but manageable. I have been out when the trolling motor is coming out of the water on the top of the wave and your feet are getting wet on the bottom of the wave! Those days are fun. Stayed with a 12v as I didn't want to rewire my boat with 6 gauge but I did up it to a 54lb from a 52lb and it did GREAT!
