Sow with tree climbing cub
« on: April 28, 2013, 11:18:20 AM »
The videos here I believe are of the same sow and cub one year apart. The cub this year seems to be checking out some trees that I have videos of other bears rubbing their backs on a while back.

Maybe the tree rubbing is the bears way of leaving calling cards that they were there. I am posting two videos that I think are the same sow and cub, what do you think? I also am posting a video of a bear scratching it's back on one of the trees that the cub is checking out. It is interesting that in each video when the sow leaves, the cub is not far behind her.
