Bear Mount

Here's a pic of the bear I finished last spring. In the pic its not completely done yet, I still had some finish work to do. It had an awsome chocolate coat that had a purple tint when the sun hit it. The bear was shot in August, so it had a huge head and smaller body (no fat yet). If it was shot in late September, it probably would have gone 325 lbs. It was an old boar with tons of scars. Im proud of this one!!

I have a half mount to do on the same type form. Do you do your own Taxidermy or are you a Taxidermist? Good lookin bear, Post some pics when you are done!

Nope, I don't own my own business...I wanted to get all the licenses to do birds on the side of going to school, but I don't think I'll have time since its my last year at school...I just do it for fun for myself. I'd post more pics, but its on the wall in a hard spot to get a good shot...and there's no taking that monster thing down!
