« on: April 21, 2013, 10:58:16 PM »
My wife hates it when i go hunting alone.
So i am looking for a partner to go with, I'm pretty much retired and need to harvest to fill the freezer

Thanks

How do you like to hunt.  Stick and string or blunderbuss?

Nothing like it.  I killed my first elk with a bow in Utah back in 1968 and been hooked ever since.  Too many dimwits in the woods with guns to suit me.  I get tired of dodging bullets.  Besides, I'm slowing down nowadays and it gets tougher to dodge 'em.  Best of luck to you and give a shout if you decide to try the bow.

Hang around on here long enough and you will find lots of hunting friends!  I like the BOOM of my rifle.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

I second that, I have met and hunted with many great folks off this website over the years.

I have met several cool people but have not had the opportunity to hunt with anyone. A lot of my coworkers enjoy hunting but are not willing to do the real work of scouting to get ready for the season. I am looking for a hunting partner who is willing to put in a lot of hard work and not just show up on opening day. I have often thought about charging a fee for all the hard work I do to get my coworkers on deer every year.

I hope so would hate to go off and have her worry all day. If someone wants to meet up to see if we click maybe we could get something going
