First Lite ASAT
« on: April 02, 2012, 10:42:06 AM »
Does anyone know where I can find any of this stuff. It looks like they only sell through dealers but their on-line dealers only have a small handful of their patterns and sizes available. Almost impossible to find either of the pants in large ASAT pattern.

I'm looking for the lighter set of pants they make, the half zip medium weight top and the brimmed beanie in ASAT. If anyone has worn their stuff please I would love to hear what you think.

Also I'm a huge fan of the Predator camo but have been looking at ASAT as another option b/c I really want to try the Marino wool for early archery western WA. If anyone has experience with the ASAT or Marino wool in western WA sept. I would like to hear what your experiences/opinions have been.

Thank you!

I'm curious about this as well.  AKBowman, we seem to be thinking alike!  I'd like to purchase some merino ASAT at some point as well . . .

I bought some first light kanab pants. They run extremely small I would.order a size or two larger. They fit like spandex, even had my dadtry them on and they were small on him and he is smaller than me. The camo was also considerly faded compared to the long sleeve top. They also are made in China if that matters. Overall I wasn't impressed with the pants and sent them back. Kept the top, as it fit well and looked to be well made compared to the pants.

If you are looking for some light weight fleece in predator or ASAT have Gary at day one camo custom make you some. Made in Colorado and is quality. You can request samples of the fabrique so you can see the material.

The new first lite stuff fits a lot better than that older stuff. I read this somewhere. I can't quote exactly where I got that from. There seems to be a bunch of First Lite for sale on archerytalk.com if I remember correctly one guy is a dealer.

This was the newer stuff supposedly, I even emailed first lite to ask them and they said they made improvements in sizing and to order my regular size, so I did. Low and behold they were way to small. There was no room in the thighs, waste or butt for me. Iwas told it was an athletic cut, what ever that means. If you are petite like a woman or have a real lean build they would probably work great.

Definitely not petite like a woman so I will steer clear of buying any of it.
Thanks for the info.

I have been buying from this shop for a long time and they have it as well, they also just got in the New Badlands Clothing but said it doesn't ship until June 1st.

I have some of the first lite base layer stuff and the Merino Wool Rocks!!!

MY PERSONAL FAVORITES:

Also what I think is good about it is that it comes in ASAT and it a high-speed clothing line, where is a lot of the ASATt stuff is polly or cotton.

We started carrying First Lite, and have received our First shipment. The fit and feel of Merino wool is amazing, and my personal favortite. We have Mossy Oak, Realtree AP and MAX-1, but ASAT and most of the Kanab pants will not be available until July. If you have any question feel free to contact us or take a look at our site.

Happy Hunting
