Some great info in this thread
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

I prefer autofocus, and use that for 99.9% of my images.  The only times I use manual focus are those times when autofocus will not work, such as when there is a heavy snowfall, in which case the AF keeps trying to focus on falling snowflakes, and doesn't "see past" them to focus on the subject.

Just looking thru the viewfinder, I cannot really tell what is sharp and what is blurry.   The camera is much more accurate than my eyesight, so I trust it to do my focusing for me.

I'm 67 yrs old, so are my eye's! Love that auto focus. But then I still have some film camera's I like to shoot now and then. Mostly my RB 67 and a Yashica 635. They have nice big focusing screen's.

There's a reason I like dog's more than people
