That's pretty cool, it would be neat to hear the other guys story, sweet to see it come to full circle. Nice job.
.....or the guy might just keep quiet because he shot it over his deer bait from a treestand.......kinda the angle into the spine I'm seeing.....

The bear had a healed scar behind his shoulder. I went to pick up the meat from the butcher and he gave me a piece of arrow and spinal of my bear. I boiled the spin and cleaned the pieces of the arrow. It is a carbon fiber arrow with black and white camo. The broad head is a G5 Montec. Who ever shot the bear came very close to the spinal cord. The ribs where the broad head ended up healed up and look a lot bigger. Wow bears are tough. I was just hoping to here the archer's story. I was hunting the 2013 spring bear season over in Huckleberry unit 121.
