Its awfully dry around here for just a few days of nice weather. I'm not looking forward to the next couple months  :bash:

I predict the woods will be shut down before bear general season opener. And that's me being optimistic

3 months away, just because we have some nice weather right now doesnt mean its gonna be this way all summer. Meteorologists cant even get a 48 hour forecast right.

Maybe we should have Chicken Little fire up the telephone tree?

Relax folks.

Actually seen 2 roadside fires on the freeway the other day just outside olympia, were about a quarter mile apart. Fire department had not been dispatched yet, We seen them blaring down the freeway about 3 miles further down the road. Stupid drivers throwing garbage out the window. A cigarette is the same as throwing a soda can out the window, Its still littering. But then it carries the danger of starting fires even. Use your ashtrays people, thats what they are for. :bash:

We're about 3 or 4 days since the last rain. Far from drought and severe fire concerns . It is May too. It will probably be pissing  rain next week. Hopefully I'm wrong. This nice weather is outstanding.

I hope it's a early summer and maybe it will be an early fall, say rain around September!

After last summer, I would be surprised if they keep the woods open into August. Just as a precaution, to the precautions  :chuckle:
