Do you know what the seasons are like over there? I’m going to Maui for a wedding in November and I was hoping to escape long enough to do a half day.

You don't need any license to fish in Maui.Open season year round. Back in Feb I fished off the Hokia out of Maleea Harbor was a party boat and a good crew. it was during Whale season and they were thick.  Ended up with some papio excellent!!

Got a guys card who beach fishes for Ula!! never got a hold of him this last trip but will look him up next one.
Oldest kid 4 years ago rented a Tuna boat run and it was just a 8 hour boat ride.  He paid a grand for that.

here's a link to Hawaiian Fishing.

Well I have pics of me fishing but no pics of fish due to the wife leaving the camera on video and the battery died.  Had a ton of fun.   He had a 300 lbs Tuna on and it got off right at the boat.
He actually was a huntwa guy til he moved to Maui.   Trust me you will have fun.
