House Fly MADNESS 1
« on: May 09, 2013, 08:32:35 AM »
The flies were getting out of control in the house, so I took it upon myself to get them out. I connected with the booner after missing two aerial shots, finally I got a lock on him and took him down with a single shot from my nerf slingshot at about 3 yrds. It was a steep quartering toward shot, and Id guess he was going about 8 fps.  Good practice for bowhunting pheasants next year.  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Nice fly but there is no way that thing makes book. Look at the legs in relationship to the wings, Too big. Small legs = book housefly.  :bash:

Not even close to being a booner, that thing is a dink, pisscutter, milk on its lips fly......
The common house fly averages 8-12mm in length and the us dime is 17.9mm in diameter and that thing is nowhere near as long as the dime is, stop long arming that thing.
Also if you really want a booner house fly you need to focus on the females as they are slightly larger than the males (making you a doe killer!!!!!) and have a much larger space between their red compound eyes.

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
