Anyone hunt Yakama Nation for Dove?
« on: May 22, 2013, 01:50:31 PM »
I really want to find a decent place to go for opening day of Dove this year.  On the WDFW web site, it says “The Yakama Nation (YN) runs an excellent hunting program and good dove hunting opportunity”.

Has anyone hunted there?  If so, what did you think?

Or, if some others want to get together, we can make a fun day of it somewhere.  Several guns around fields keep the dove moving.  :IBCOOL:   I can drive to wherever and will probably be by myself.

I've hunted doves nearby in Zillah.  Plenty of doves, I ran out of shells.

you cant go wrong with ANY wheat field around Yakima and the rez! there are birds everywhere but it can get crowded at times. best to get there the day before and do lots of scouting. i recommend having several fields as options and get there EARLY
