Im not an expert nor am I from klickitat but from my experience and succes find south or southwest facing slopes up high where the berrys are. Thats my take on this time of year.

I know nothing about that area, but can I make a suggestion?

You may get better results by introducing yourself, post a pic or story and people will warm up and you should be able to get all the info you want.

Good luck and welcome.
