My nephew drew this tag.  I know the Toutle pretty good now I need to get out there and see the exact boundary so that we can go in there and he can get his first elk.  This should be a pretty special time for the little rascal.

My son drew the Toutle quality bull tag this year.  He had the Mudflow cow tag a few years ago.  You should have a great time.  See lots of elk...some nice big bulls too.  Opening day the first group of elk we say right at first light was a group of about 8 bulls, a couple really big boys too. Then got into a group of cows with two nice bulls about 20 min's later.  He took a nice big cow.  After a couple pics and high fiving we look a ways down from us and seen a heard of over 100 elk just milling around.  Great tag...you guys should have fun.  And I am thinking we should have some fun too.  I have to get down and take a look around the Toutle.  Never been in there.  Have hunted the Winston.  Have fun and post the story and pic's.

Drew it a couple years ago. Should be a good hunt for a youngster. Can be steep from the highway side. Tagged out by noon first day. Good luck to him!
