« on: June 22, 2013, 10:36:16 PM »
I drew fairview and was wondering if anyone had an opportunity to actually hunt this tag. Just was curious if i have a chance of actually hunting or not :dunno:

I got drawn for this last year and was #16 on the list... I think i got called the last week of jan. all 15 before killed an elk.  I did not tag out becuz i was fresh ouuta knee surgery and couldnt drive around all day.  The coordinator and i drove around the wind farm, the one between vantage highway and i90. We saw over 100 elk every day... 10 feet inside the state park.  After about a week of not hearing anything the coordinator called and told me he found me an easier hunt but i choose not to do it...
In summary, not to bad of an experience, i saw elk every time i went, probably would have got one if not for my knee, andhad some fun.

Thanks for the info.  Do you know who I would talk to to see what number I am on the list? Good luck this year!
