Sept. 20 elk photo trip
«

Bow hunting was really slow, the elk weren't really rutting around here. So during the middle of bow season, Ricochet, a friend from another forum, and I went on a little photo trip to take some pics. of Roosevelt elk. Had a really good time, took around 900 pics. in the 2 days we were there, saw between 35 and 40 different bulls. Here are a few of the pics. I took.

Very cool indeed. My coworker keeps joking with me to take a camera when I hunt so I can "shoot" a photo of all the ones that get away.

Funny, I did the same thing Cameraguy. I left my bowhunt early and went to Yellowstone to shoot rutting bulls. I think I had more fun shooting pictures than arrows at the elk. Can't wait to shoot huge rutting mulies this year...
