Author Topic: Peaches Ridge camera check. Question on a picture? Wolf or coyote (Read 5677 times)

I finally got around to retrieving my camera that was left all winter long up in Peaches Ridge. The winter took it's toll on the camera and it no longer works

On my way up there a big bear between 4-500 lbs ran right infront of us on the road. I got some good pictures last fall and i have one that i can't quite make out... I don't think that there is Coyote's up at 4500ft, but i could be wrong. What do you guys think?

Yup a yote. Not safe for long saw a wolf along the naches river on the way home last fall.

I will say this time and time again. If you have a doubt whether or not a coyote or wolf, it's a coyote. When you see a wolf you will know it, absolutely. It's a coyote.

and the third one is a coyote.

Coyotes can pretty much live anywhere and adapt if need be. I usually see one every year where I deer hunt... its just a hair under 6000 feet

that is a sweet lookin yote, what a hide on the yote, would make a cool rug or even a hair on tan
